How Your Order is Delivered
The Laughing Professor offers both digital services and physical products. How your order is delivered depends on the type of product you have purchased — details for each are outlined below.
Digital Services & Downloads
The majority of our products are digital. This includes SEO services, website development, embedded widgets, and all custom digital work.
Once your payment has been received and confirmed, work begins immediately. You will receive all deliverables directly via email or through your secure customer account on this site. There is nothing to wait for in the post — no packaging, no tracking number. If you have not received your confirmation or deliverable within **24 hours of payment**, please [contact us](https://laughingprofessor.net/contact-us) and we will look into it straight away.
Typical turnaround times:
- Widget purchases & downloads - delivered within 24 hours of payment.
- SEO audits & reports - delivered within 2-3 business days.
- Website development & custom projects - timelines are agreed with you at the start of the project. You will receive progress updates throughout.
Physical Products
Where a physical product is included in your order (for example, printed materials or branded items), it will be dispatched via USPS within 1-2 business days of payment, subject to stock availability. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm the expected dispatch date - delivery will still be made within 30 days unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.
Shipping charges for physical items are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
Returns & Refunds
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something is not right, we are here to help.
Digital Services & Custom Work
Because our digital services are tailored to each client's individual needs, we work closely with you throughout the process - including reviews and revisions - to make sure the finished result meets your expectations.
If you are not happy with the work delivered, please [contact us within 7 days of receiving your deliverable](https://laughingprofessor.net/contact-us). We will do everything we can to resolve the issue, whether that means revisions, adjustments, or, where appropriate, a full or partial refund.
Refund requests made before work has begun will be refunded in full, with no questions asked.
Physical Products
If a physical product arrives damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receiving it. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs you have paid. Please keep proof of the issue (a photo is ideal) so we can resolve things as quickly as possible.
